Breaking: Tinubu Approves N70,000 New Minimum Wage

President Bola Tinubu has approved a N70,000 minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

He has also promised to review the national minimum wage law every three years.

President Tinubu further committed to finding ways to assist the private sector and sub-national entities in meeting this minimum wage requirement.

The decisions were announced by President Tinubu at a meeting held with leaders of TUC and NLC on Thursday in Abuja. This marked the second time the parties had met in 7 days.

The Labour leaders applauded President Tinubu for this fatherly gesture.

The President also promised to use his discretionary powers to meet the demands of university unions demanding unpaid 4 months’ salaries.
